Our B&B in South Shields is relaxed and friendly, offering clean, comfortable, quality accommodation at competitive rates.
All our rooms are non-smoking with comfortable memory-foam mattresses on every bed. All rooms have double-glazed, opening windows with black-out roller blinds, individual temperature controls, work desk, chair & lamp, free wireless internet, alarm clock, large flat-screen digital TV's with Freeview, tea/coffee/biscuit tray, hairdryer, toiletries, shave point, big soft 'bath sheet' size towels, use of fridge, microwave, iron and board, 24/7 access - no curfew or lockouts. Our South Shields B&B serves a full English breakfast (freshly cooked to order) from 6:30am seven days a week. Special diets (gluten/wheat-free, milk-free, Vegan, Vegetarian etc.) catered for. Our full breakfast menu can be found here. A guest fridge and microwave is also available for guests use at all times.
South Tyneside is an ideal place to base your stay in Tyne and Wear. We are just a few minutes drive from the A1, A19 and Tyne Tunnel making Durham, Gateshead, Hebburn, Jarrow, Metrocentre Newcastle Airport, Newcastle upon Tyne city centre, North Shields, North Tyneside, Northumberland, Sunderland and Tynemouth all quick and easy to get to.

Our South Shields Guest House is just a short walk from three parks, Sandhaven and Little Haven beaches, King Street shopping area, dozens of restaurants, take-aways and family-friendly pubs. South Shields bus station, South Shields Metro station (part of the Tyne & Wear Metro (train)) and the Shields Ferry are all within ten minutes walk.
Not driving? Not forgetting extensive local bus services, South Shields is part of the rapid and frequent Tyne and Wear Metro (train) system that links us to Gateshead, Hebburn, Jarrow, Newcastle, Newcastle Airport, North Shields, South Shields, St. James' Park, Sunderland and Tynemouth. South Shields to Newcastle Central station is just 20 minutes by Metro.
Arriving by bike? We are one hundred yards from a National Cycle Route, we are motorcycle and cycle-friendly - free overnight parking available. Free parking for cars is available right outside.
Our South Shields B&B has a full fire certificate and our training includes first aid, food hygiene and fluent British Sign Language (BSL).
We accept credit and debit card payment in person, by telephone and online.
