Arriving by Tyne & Wear Metro (nearest Metro station: South Shields)
South Shields Metro Station is located in the middle of South Shields' main shopping area, King Street. The Metro journey to/from Newcastle Central Station takes approximately 20 minutes; to/from Newcastle International Airport takes approximately 55 minutes. Annie's Guest House is about 8 minutes walk away from South Shields Metro Station.
At the foot of the Metro Station stairs, turn right onto the King Street shopping area. Head east towards the sea front and you will pass a supermarket on the left with a small roundabout a little further ahead. Take the 3rd exit at this roundabout (Anderson Street) and continue until you reach another roundabout. Take the 1st exit from this rounabout (onto Beach Road) and continue towards the sea front. After a couple of minutes walk you'll see Annie's on the right hand side!!
