South Shields Metro station is a single platform terminus station located above ground over the King Street shopping area in the town centre.

This map marks out the route from South Shields Metro station (on the left) to Annie's Guest House (on the right). It might be helpful for those walking to/from us and South Shields Metro station.

It is around a ten minute walk to/from South Shields Metro station and our guest house. Take the Kepple Street bus station exit from the Metro station (as opposed to the King Street exit), turn left and walk towards the Fowler Street shopping area of South Shields. At Fowler Street turn to your right and follow the road straight up to a set of traffic lights. These traffic lights are the start of Beach Road. Turn left at the set of traffic lights and walk along Beach Road, crossing straight over the small roundabout. We are door number 106 on the right hand side of the street, half way along Beach Road.

If your bags are too numerous and/or heavy you can easily take a taxi to/from the taxi rank outside South Shields Metro station. Because it's such a short journey this will only cost you a few pounds.
