If you are visiting our bed and breakfast accommodation with children over the next six weeks then you may like to visit Sunderland Illuminations<\/u><\/a> aka Roker Park Lights a few miles south of us in Roker<\/u><\/a>, Sunderland<\/u><\/a>, SR6 9NB.<\/p>\n

\"Sunderland<\/center><\/p>\n

Sunderland Illuminations<\/u><\/a> start this Saturday 24th September until Saturday 5th November 2016.<\/p>\n

If you drive along the A183 Coast Road<\/u><\/a> you can see the seafront illuminations for free but there is a £1 charge to see the attractions inside Roker Park<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Illuminated Observation Wheel is located on Cliffe Park<\/u><\/a>, SR6 9NS and operates from 6pm until 10pm on Saturday 24th September (launch night) then every night until Saturday 5th November 2016.<\/p>\n

The cost to ride on the wheel is £4 for adults and £3 for children. A family ticket for two adults and two children or one adult and three children is £10.<\/p>\n

Entrance to Roker Park<\/u><\/a> costs £1 per person.<\/p>\n

You can purchase tickets from cabins at the entrances on Cliffe Park<\/u><\/a>, Bede’s Cross and Marine Walk<\/u><\/a>. These cabins are open from 5pm daily.<\/p>\n

Washington Town Centre Library<\/u><\/a> in Washington Village<\/u><\/a>, NE38 7RZ.<\/p>\n

Houghton Library<\/u><\/a> on Newbottle Street<\/u><\/a> in Houghton le Spring<\/u><\/a>, DH4 4AF.<\/p>\n

Sandhill Centre Library<\/u><\/a> in Grindon<\/u><\/a>, SR3 4EN.<\/p>\n

Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens<\/u><\/a> on Burdon Road<\/u><\/a>, Sunderland<\/u><\/a>, SR1 1PP.<\/p>\n

Inside Roker Park<\/u><\/a> the model railway will be running on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the event from 5pm until 8pm. There is no charge but donations are welcomed.<\/p>\n
