All our rooms have solid wood beds with memory-foam mattresses, double-glazed, opening windows with black-out roller blinds, individual temperature control, work desk, chair & lamp, free wi-fi, cooling fan, large flat-screen digital TV's - our en suite rooms have 40" 4K smart TV's, tea/coffee, large 'bath sheet' towels, complimentary toiletries, 66 litre fridge with ice box, cooling fan, iron, ironing board and hair-dryer. 24/7 access - no curfew or lockouts. All our Accommodation is strictly non-smoking.

Our South Shields B&B serves a Full English Breakfast freshly cooked to order from 7am seven days a week. Special diets (gluten/wheat-free, milk-free, Vegan, Vegetarian etc.) can be catered for. Self-Catering Facilities are also available.

South Tyneside is an ideal place to base your stay in North East England. We are just a few minutes drive from the A1, A19 and Tyne Tunnel making Durham, Gateshead, Gateshead Metrocentre, Hebburn, Jarrow, Newcastle Airport, Newcastle upon Tyne, North Shields, North Tyneside, Northumberland, Sunderland, Tynemouth Washington and Whitley Bay all easy to get to.

Our bed & breakfast accommodation is a few minutes walk from the Marine and Offshore Safety Training Centre (MOST), South Shields Marine School and South Tyneside College.

The International Advanced Manufacturing Park (IAMP), Port of Tyne and South Tyneside Hospital are a few minutes away by car and public transport.

We are within close walking distance of both hotels in South Shields, the Little Haven Hotel and Best Western Sea Hotel in South Shields.

Our South Shields guest house is just a short walk from three parks (Bents Park, North Marine Park and South Marine Park), Sandhaven and Littlehaven beaches, Ocean Road, King Street shopping area, dozens of restaurants, take-aways and family-friendly pubs.

Ocean Beach Pleasure Park is located at the bottom of our street.

South Shields is part of the rapid and frequent Tyne & Wear Metro (train) system that links us to Gateshead, Hebburn, Jarrow, Newcastle upon Tyne, Newcastle Airport, North Shields, St James' Park, Simonside, Sunderland and Tynemouth. Central Station is just 20 minutes by Tyne & Wear Metro.

If you are arriving by bike we are adjacent to National Cycle Routes 1, 14 and 72. We are bicycle and motorcycle friendly with free overnight parking. Free parking for cars, with ample space for vans.

Our South Shields B&B has a full fire certificate and our training includes first aid, food hygiene and fluent British Sign Language (BSL).
