The Proclaimers plus Lindisfarne

The second free South Tyneside Festival Sunday concert at Bents Park, Sea Road, South Shields, NE33 2LD takes place this Sunday 17th July 2016 from 1pm until 5pm.

Scottish duo The Proclaimers comprises twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid will be performing hits such as Letter From America, Let’s Get Married and I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles).

Also performing are rock and folk band Lindisfarne now fronted by founder member Rod Clements. Their hits include Meet Me On The Corner, Fog On The Tyne, Lady Eleanor and Run For Home.

Newcastle soul singer and songwriter Beth Macari who previously fronted the house band on Sky One show Bring the Noise will also be performing.

Gates open at 1pm, Lindisfarne will begin their set at around 2:10pm, The Proclaimers will take to the stage at around 3.30pm.
