Tall Ships Races Sunderland 2018

The Tall Ships Races are coming to Sunderland in 2018 – on 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th July.

Our bed and breakfast accommodation is located just six miles north from the mouth of the river Wear along the scenic A183 Coast Road.

Demand for accommodation will be high during the event and our rooms are already available for sale. We advise early booking to avoid disappointment.

Roker Rattler Land Train

The Roker Rattler is a new land train on Sunderland sea front that launches today.

Roker Rattler Land Train Marine Walk Roker To Seaburn Sunderland SR6

The new Roker Rattler starts today Thursday 12th April 2017 and runs from Marine Walk in Roker, Sunderland to behind the Seaburn Centre in Seaburn, Sunderland.

The Roker Rattler land train is scheduled to run every 20 minutes from 11am until 6pm.

One-way tickets are &2.00 for adults and £1.50 for children. Return tickets are £3 for adults and £2 for children. Under 2’s ride for free.

Sunderland Restaurant Week 2017

Sunderland’s second restaurant week takes place from Saturday 11th March until Sunday 19th March 2017.

Restaurants from across Sunderland will be showcasing their unique flavours, offering special two and three course menus for £10 or £15 as part of Eat Drink Sunderland Restaurant Week.

Daytime cafés are offering special £5 deals.

Angelo’s Ristorante, 48 West Sunniside, Sunderland, SR1 1BA.

New South Shields Metro Timetable

Guest House From Newcastle International Airport NE13 8BZ by Metro

If you are travelling to or from our bed and breakfast accommodation from this Sunday 5th February 2017 there are Metro timetable changes.

From this Sunday 5th February 2017 a new Metro will be in effect from South Shields which includes two new early morning trains from South Shields – first departure will now be 5:42am with a Metro train every 12 minutes from 6:06am onwards – perfect for those with early starts.
