The video was taken from North Marine Park in South Shields and focuses on the Groyne – the red structure at the entrance of the River Tyne.

The Little Haven Hotel in South Shields can be seen on the left side of the video adjacent to the Littlehaven Beach.

The paved circle between the Little Haven Hotel and Littlehaven Beach is the location of a public art sculpture called ‘Conversation Piece’ created in 1998 by the Spanish sculptor Juan Munoz.

Each of the twenty two life size bronze figures is 1.5 metres high and weighs a quarter of a tonne.

It is known locally as ‘The Weebles’.
