We received a last minute room cancellation today for this years Great North Run being held on Sunday 10th September 2023.

This is an En Suite Double & Single bedroom to sleep a maximum of three people in one double and one single bed for £25 per person per night, £225 for the weekend.

We are the closest bed and breakfast accommodation to the Great North Run finish line in South Shields.

Tickets for the England match are already on sale.

Travelling to and from Sunderland’s Stadium of Light and our bed and breakfast accommodation by public transport is easy.

You can catch a bus at the bottom of the street – Westoe Road that takes you directly to The Wheatsheaf at the top of Roker Avenue, immediately adjacent to the Stadium of Light in Sunderland.

Quorum Business Park’s farmers market promises twenty local stall holders with a selection of gifts, fresh produce, plants and shrubbery, bakery treats, food and condiments, and of course street food.

The farmers market will take place in a marque on Quorum Business Park’s sports courts and the surrounding area from 11am until 2pm.

The event is free to attend and you can also expect live entertainment, free ice cream and a visit from Animals About Town as well as crafts and outdoor activities for children.

Bowie by Candlelight at Newcastle Cathedral

Bowie by Candlelight will be performing at Newcastle Cathedral on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st October 2023.

Bowie by Candlelight includes a cast of West End singers and a live band.

VIP tickets cost £45 and are for front two rows.

Premium tickets cost £40 and are in the first block of seating in front of the stage starting from the third row.

Band A tickets cost £35 are behind premium in the second centre block of seating from the stage.

Band B tickets cost £25 are side view tickets.

All seating is general admission and seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis on the evening, within the block that you have purchased tickets for.

Doors open at 6:45pm, the performance starts at 7:30pm.
