A new open top bus service launched on Monday making it quicker and easier for people to travel between South Shields town centre and the sea front over the summer.

An adult single fare is £1.15 or £1.30 for a full journey between the Market Place and The New Crown pub adjacent to Westoe Crown Village at the bottom of Mowbray Road.
Child single tickets cost 60p with a Nexus Under 16 card or £1.10 for all day.
All concessions and Network Travel tickets are accepted along with all other Stagecoach tickets such as Dayrider, Megarider and Transfers.
The service will run every day during the six weeks holidays until Sunday 1st September, then on weekends up to and including Sunday 3rd November.
The bus will also operate daily between 28th October and 3rd November.

Church Way, Chapter Row, Keppel Street, Fowler Street, Winchester Street, Anderson Street, Ocean Road, Sea Road before turning at The New Crown pub roundabout at the bottom of Mowbray Road adjacent to Westoe Crown Village.
