Sunderland Restaurant Week 2017

Sunderland’s fourth restaurant week takes place from Saturday 9th September until Sunday 17th September 2017.

Restaurants from across Sunderland will be showcasing their unique flavours, offering special two and three course menus for £10 or £15 as part of Sunderland Restaurant Week.

Daytime cafés are offering special £5 deals.

Angelo’s Ristorante, 48 West Sunniside, Sunderland, SR1 1BA.
With an award-winning Italian chef under its belt, whipping up meals that could make all of Italy jealous, there is no wonder this Sunniside joint has been voted one of the top 10 Italian restaurants in England.

20 Bus Durham Sunderland South Shields Bus Timetable

The #20 Sunderland to/from South Shields bus service is the quickest way to get to/from Sunderland City Centre (Park Lane Interchange), the University of Sunderland (City Campus and Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter’s) and the Stadium of Light.

Journey time from South Shields to Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter’s and the Stadium of Light is approximately 15 minutes.

Journey time from South Shields to Sunderland City Centre (Park Lane Interchange) and the University of Sunderland City Campus is approximately 20 minutes.

Where to disembark the #20 bus in South Shields

Fowler Street is where you should disembark the #20 bus upon reaching South Shields.

Fowler Street is at the bottom of our street (Beach Road).

Where to catch the #20 bus in South Shields to get to Sunderland

Turning the corner from Beach Road, walking in front of South Shields Town Hall, is Westoe Road.

The Bridges Sunderland Car Parking Charges

If you are one of the many guests who stay at our bed and breakfast accommodation and visit The Bridges Shopping Centre in Sunderland and travel by car then you may be interested in their current car parking charges – valid from today Thursday 1st June 2017.

The Bridges Shopping Centre Sunderland SR1 3DR Exterior

The Bridges Shopping Centre in Sunderland has 940 car parking spaces across their rooftop and multi-storey car parks.

Previously the multi-storey car park was open 24/7 but from May 1st 2017 this changed to Monday to Saturday from 7am until 11:30pm; Sunday and bank holidays from 8am until 11:30pm.

The Bridges Shopping Centre rooftop car park is open Monday to Wednesday from 8am until 6:30pm; Thursday from 8am until 9:30pm; Friday and Saturday from 8am until 6:30pm and on Sunday and bank holidays from 10am until 6:30pm.

Parking charges apply to all vehicles including disabled blue badge holders and are as follows…

Monday to Saturday from 7am until 6pm – £1.40 per hour.

Monday to Saturday from 6pm – 50p per hour.

Thursday late night shopping from 5:30pm until 9pm – free.

Sunday and bank holidays from 8am until 6pm – flat rate of £2.

Sunday and bank holiday evenings from 6pm – 50p per hour.
