We visited Arbeia Roman Fort on Baring Street in South Shields today.
Arbeia Roman Fort is open Monday to Friday from 10am until 5pm; Saturday from 11am until 4pm and Sunday from 1pm until 4pm until Sunday 1st October 2023 when it closes for winter. It re-opens again at the end of March 2024.
Arbeia Roman Fort is free to enter. Donations welcome.
